Does anyone know how to make these two cooperate. My old Mac Mini played happily via the 3.5 headphone thingumy on the Mac to the Optical input on the Denon. Sadly no more :(
Any words of wisdom greatly received.
Amazon delivered 3.5mm to 2-Male RCA Adapter Cable this afternoon and it works a treat. Thanks oodles for your help :)
Optical is obsolete. Connect to the Denon’s front USB; if that doesn’t work, rear Line In using a 3.5mm to RCA dual cable from the mini’s headphone port.
Thank you, I'll have a fiddle. I don't think the USB option will work as we tried that with my son's MBP, but I'll have ago. Cheers :)
👍. Line in ain’t the same as headphone out but workable by keeping the volume low on the mini side. That said, best to lower expectations and be ready for disappointment. Good luck.
