iPhone 12 Pro Max WiFi connection

iPhone 12 Pro Max has a terrible slow and inconsistent connection to my Wi-Fi while every other device, my laptop and smart TV, have no issues. I turned off Wi-Fi networking services I have reset network settings I have restarted the router I have gone through the full litany of basic problem-solving and the problem still persists. What else can I do? This is my first iPhone ever so this is very annoying.

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with the Wi-Fi connection to your iPhone 12 Pro Max. It sounds like it is slower than other devices on your network.


You have tried quite a bit of troubleshooting here. The next step to try is testing the iPhone on another Wi-Fi network. This will isolate the issue to either the iPhone or your router.


If the iPhone Wi-Fi works well on another network, there may be some kind of router compatibility. We'd recommend checking for any software updates for the router.
