Where do I find "cookies" on new imac
A site is asking that I clear cookies and can't find them anywhere. It will not advance me unless I do.
Thanks.

What site?
What web browser are you using?
While it may help to clear out the cookies for that one site, it may not be a good idea to clear all cookies.
see > https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-and-website-data-sfri11471/mac
I'm trying to sign onto care.com.
I already have an account I don't remember making.
When I tried to replace the password (forgot the old one), that's when it said I had to get rid of cookies. Not sure if it meant just for that site or all cookies. I have imac version 10.15.7
I never dealt with cookies on any mac...and have no idea where to look
This was very helpful to know where they are located for the future. I did find and delete that one.
They say the site has redirected me too many times.
I think it will be a long while before I can actually reach an admin at that site via phone! Tried but will try again tomorrow.
Thank you very much.
Go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy. Once there, you should see the option to delete All or by clicking on Details... and then deleting only the ones for that website.
I did go to the link you suggested, thank you but now it tells me that I've tried logging on too many times.
How long do I wait before it might work?
Depends on the security of the site. Sometimes you have to contact the sites admin. and get them to unlock your account.
You're welcome.
Keep in mind that you may need to toss todays stale cookie, before you try again tomorrow.
