Size and colour of mailbox names too small and light to read. How can I increase or darken the names?

The size and colour of mailbox names is far too small and light to read. How can I increase or darken the names? I can't believe Apple sends out a new program without any consideration to people with low vision or just getting older. I suspect these updates are done by 20 year-olds with excellent vision!
