Two-factor authentication

Here is the problem: I hate two-factor authentication, but according to the support page...

"Can I turn off two-factor authentication after I’ve turned it on?

If you already use two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off. Certain features in the latest versions of iOS and macOS require this extra level of security, which is designed to protect your information. If you recently updated your account, you can unenroll within two weeks of enrollment. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require higher security."

Is there perhaps a way to delete my account, and then re-enroll without two-factor authentication? Or can updating my account accomplish the same thing? Bear in Mind that I don't really understand what my account is, but my iPhone is quite insistent about verifying my Apple ID at times. I wish it would shut up.

If you delete your account and set up a new ID, you will probably have 2 Factor Authentication after you set it up. New accounts have 2 Factor Authentication enabled. If it has been more than 2 weeks, you can't reset your account.
