High Memory Consumption after Big Sur 11.2 Update

Hi everyone,

Do you guys have the problem with awful memory usage peak after the 11.2 update?

My Mac M1 8GB is run out of memory with only a safari with 3 tabs. No other foreground apps running.

For example during a video playback it will come up with a message saying memory low then it auto refreshes, it is annoying. Had no issues with Catalina. any fix or suggestions ?

macOS Monterey: Very high Memory usage across apps I am seeing very high memory usage on my M1 mac pro and is happening across apps. Most times it's Microsoft office apps but it also happens with native apps or processes like control center or windows server, etc. Is this a bug in Monterey that is causing some system APIs to leak memory? Seems like it? Does anyone know a solution or a workaround? App consuming higher memory usage is purely random it seems, as a couple of times I had Safari (which had no tabs open so was idle) also go till 25GB of usage. Killing and restarting apps is really painful. This only started happening since Monterey upgrade.

RAM filling I am using a 2019 iMac using Big Sur and previously, Mojave. I updated to Big Sur in an effort to resolve an issue I have with my RAM filling for no good reason. At the moment I am running Excel and Word with Mail and Finder and the balance of my ram is 892Mb out of 8Gb. If I free it up using Clean My Mac I end up with 3.3Gg. After a bit of usage, without opening and additional apps, the problem will re-appear. What is happening?

I am using MacBook air 2017 ver / 8gb RAM and having same issue with you. Don't know why when i turn on Intellij(IDE) it consumes memory too much. Even if I turn on just Youtube, total ram usage is about 5.5gb.
