If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support

Mine as well. When I’m listening to SiriusXM, and switch to another app and the audio app is in the background, it will shut off within 1 min.

Similarly effected:

Apple Music app

Calm app

Ten Percent Meditation app

Apple needs to issue a fix.

I took it that the OP’s post was about audio apps dropping out when running in the background.

Ive noticed this issue since the update a few days ago.
