USB device doesn't show on my desktop. I have Big Sur.

USB device doesn't show on desk top. I have Big Sur. I want to eject USB device.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1

USB device doesn't show up. It did originally and then I must have tried to click on it and it vanished. Is it ok for me to just pull it out now? There isn't a way to eject it.

What device? Check Finder menu > Preferences, General and Sidebar tabs and check boxes to show drives, CDs, etc.
