Am trying to update Apple TV to 14.4 but update is taking forever currently saying 4 hours remaining. I have been getting constant buffering on all on demand services including Netflix, Prime, Now, iPlayer - is this because the software needs updating or is it because of demand on networks due to covid?

An issue on your home network might cause that. Wi-Fi is somewhat prone to interference from outside sources. Are there many other home networks detectable in your area? E.g. overlapping Wi-Fi channels from your neighbors can be a tough issue in apartment buildings.
Thanks Mr U, I have managed to update Apple TV to 14.4. although it took me about 90 mins but that’s okay now it is sorted maybe just a patience issue on my part. I have started to watch something on an on demand channel which, so far, there is no buffering. If I find the constant buffering returns on all on demand services you think it is a problem between router and Apple TV?
