Family Sharing

I just added family sharing to my phone. I have two questions.

I have two emails associated with my iPhone it's not connected to my family sharing and I want to know how to connect the two?
I added my mom to my family sharing it shows that she is not using it. It might be because she has two emails too?

Invite the other email the same as you would invite someone else to join. Did your mom accept the invitation to join? You can add both of your mom's emails if desired.
