Storage "Others" is taking 30gb on my iOS

Hello,

My iPhone storage is full of it if I check the storage is the "Others" category that is taking this space.

How to clean it up?

  • I deleted most of my apps, to check if one of them were reserving caches
  • I cleaned up the browser's history
  • I deleted the old messages

Yet no solved it, I don't wanna backup/restore my phone because then I would need to log-in in to all my apps again. This can lead me to problems with the bank apps, as they might require some extra things and if something goes wrong I'm not in my country to solve it with the bank.

How can I clean my iPhone up without resetting it?

How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support - http://support.apple.com/HT201656 - "About cached files in Other ... When you stream music or video, that content is stored as cached files on your device so you can quickly access it again. Your device automatically removes cached files and temporary files when your device needs more space." "You don't need to delete them yourself." (Which I interpret to mean you cannot delete them directly yourself.)

How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup

- A somewhat drastic solution achieved by making a backup of your device which will not include "other", erasing the device, then restoring the device from your slimmed backup.

Limnos, good afternoon,

Love these answers without reading the descriptions on the thread.

1)

So, yes, I'm expecting that it would clean it up when it's possible. But it's not happening and it's prohibiting me to download new content. I already closed all my apps, restarted my iPhone, and still, storage is in the sky.

I also deleted most of my apps, including games, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon Prime, basically everything that can stream /cache data. But I have no effect on my storage availability.

2) I just mentioned that I can't do it.

3) I mentioned as well that I have already done it.
