Earpiece attachment & Bluetooth for iPhone 12

i bought the earpiece attachment for the iPhone 12 and it just suddenly stopped working after a few months. The phone says the item is not supported. On another note, I had another Bluetooth earpiece that used to connect, but one day I accidentally pressed forget the item instead of disconnecting and now the phone can’t find the connection at all. Has anyone else run into this issue?
