When receiving a text message from one of my contacts, the phone does not give me the audible sound that I have a new message. I noticed that their is a partial moon next to the name. Looks like the do not disturb symbol

Is that symbol causing my phone not to ring when I get her texts? If so how do we get rid of that?

go to that message thread - click on the user picture or icon - click info - hide alerts - off
