How come I cannot see email further back than about a month? Is that a setting somewhere that I can change to go back a year?

Mail>Preferences>Accounts>Your Account>Mailbox Behaviors, see if Archive or Trash is set to one month.

Thank you, I did not know that existed. I did check, and they are all set to never expire, even trash and junk.

Look in Archived, either in Mail App or at gmail.com
