Phishing

I just saw some calendar notes on my calendar that says “Your information have been exposed to everyone” and I have to click on it to install the anti-malware app which I obviously did not do. But I ran the link on my laptop using an incognito web browser and it did open up a link to install the app. I closed the browser and did nothing to the app. I did not install it. But how was I able to get calendar notes on phone without me knowing? Does that mean someone already has an access to my phone remotely?

That is a Rogue Calendar account.

If you are using iOS 13 or an earlier version then Go to Settings Passwords & Accounts and under Accounts see if an unknown calendar account is listed. If it is then tap on it and then Delete account.

If you are using iOS 14 the Go to Settings Calendar Accounts and under Accounts see if an unknown calendar account is listed. If it is then tap on it and then Delete account.

Note that it is not a virus. It is something that got added to your calendar because you may have accepted an offer from a pop-up on a website unknowingly. Please be careful out there.
