Can't install apps on iPhone 5C iOS 10

Hi,

I am unable to install any apps on my phone. I always receive the following error message: "The itunes store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later." I'm not low on storage, I have a stable internet connection. How can I fix it? Will I just have to install apps using my pc

When trying to download an app a pop-up says this "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time". Your device is too old for most modern apps.
