Charge MacBook Pro with Dual Monitor Type C

I have a doubt about how the power management system handles the connection of two power source.

Consider the case where I have two monitor, both can be connected via type C and provide each of them 65W of power delivery. If I connected the dual monitor setup to two usb type C port of a MacBook Pro 16 (that could require up to 100W), will the MacBook only get the power from a single port, or will it dynamically require power from also the other monitor in case a single one is not able to satisfy the demand?

No worries and not an issue— the Mac will pick one power source only as it see fit.

If the demand is great it draws auxiliary power from the battery, not the second monitor.

It has always been recommended to be on the mains, especially high demand environment like 100w draw for this very reason.

No harm having dual monitors with each independent 65W of power as you indicate.
