Why do I need to keep logging in to iTunes?

I'm just wondering. No mater how many times I log into Itunes, it won't log in. I change my password. It works to log into this forum, but it doesn't work to open my itunes account.

Why do I need to log in to itunes on my own personal computer everytime to get music that I already own?

It's as if Apple has installed a payment gateway in my own house. I'm not allowed to use my own things in this apple universe where they must have direct access to my credit card information for me to ever use any of their products that I've already bought from them.

It feels like a form of economic fascism.

Sincerely, I would simply like to be able to listen to my own music on my own computer.

Apple seems hellbent on making that impossible.

45 minutes later. I still cannot get into my own music.

Any suggestions?

Do you know how to set things so that you can simply turn on your computer and listen to your own music?
