guest user on MacBook

so a profile has been created called guest a couple of days ago I didn't create it so can I delete the profile

There is a default Guest account that cannot be deleted. You can turn it off in Users & Groups system preferences.

Guest user Guest user popped up on screen. I have no guest user. I opened it up to see I could figure out what it was.
