How do I get out of Family sharing when my wife doesn’t remember the apple id she used to start the group

I used this method and after I hit remove account I then was prompted on the next screen to remove and I did but to no avail
That hasn’t worked. Each time I go back to the link it still says that I’m part of her group even after removing myself
Have you tried either of the other two methods?

My wife had me as a family sharing member on a phone that she lost. She changed her apple id and now I want to start my own family sharing but it says that I am already a member. How do I get out of her old family
