How do I get out of Family sharing when my wife doesn’t remember the apple id she used to start the group

That hasn’t worked. Each time I go back to the link it still says that I’m part of her group even after removing myself
I used this method and after I hit remove account I then was prompted on the next screen to remove and I did but to no avail
Have you tried either of the other two methods?
