Apple Pay prompts for double tap

First off, this does not work: Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Double-Click Side Button - off.

i am not doing a restore, as per a lot of other users , this does not fix issue.

i have an iPhone 11pro , with latest software.

Double click was off in ios13, ios14 it won’t go off.
