have to touch avatar to see text message
I received a text message that only shows the Contact's avatar in the Messages list. In order to see any text messages from this contact I have to touch the avatar. How do I change this?

Hello baldguyut,
Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're seeing the contact's photo in the Messages app, and you must tap that to see the messages. We're happy to help.
The contact's messages are pinned to the top of your Messages app. Open Messages, then tap Edit or ... Edit Pins. Tap the - to remove the pinned conversation.
