How can I get the left panel open again on my Photos on my 27' Mac? It went off a few weeks ago. this panel gave me info on all my photos, videos, and showed when I plugged my iphone in to pictures, and a lot of other things. Help. I need that. Thanks.
You have lost the sidebar in Photos? It will depend on the system version how to bring it back.
In the earlier versions of photos try the keyboard shortcut ⌥⌘S to show or hide the sidebar.
In the newer versions the sidebar should always be shown, but it may vanish, if the Photos window is too small. Try to enlarge the window b dragging the resize corners. Or use the System Preferences > Display to increase the resolution of the display.
If you are using Photos in Full Screen Mode enable the option "Always show sidebar and Toolbar in Fullscreen mode" in the View menu in Photos.
