iPhone 12 Pro HDR photos and videos Fix

Hi guys,

I got the new iPhone 12 Pro and in my excitement didn’t bother checking the HDR setting. I went to Kenya and Tanzania and took tons of photos and videos (around 5000 in total, I’m crazy).

now when I switched off the HDR, the photos and videos look really washed out and over exposed. How can I fix this?

please don’t tell me how to switch off HDR, I have already done that. I need a fix for existing photos and videos.

I saw a previous reported problem in Feb (about 150 people also said they had the same issue), for which Apple support directed the user to the photos HDR setting. My HDR is turned on already. My husband’s and son’s same model works just fine, me compared that my camera settings are exactly the same as theirs, but no avail. I hate to have spent so much on this phone… looks like a device defect to me

any work around to turn HDR settings off? pretty crappy that I can't turn HDR off on photos on my Iphone 13. I hope they will come up with some update to fix this
