Turbo Tax 2020 requires Mac OS 10.14 Mojave or later https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/system-requirements/help/minimum-system-requirements-for-turbotax-mac-software/00/25609

Your iMac must be a late 2012 or newer to run Mac OS 10.14 https://support.apple.com/kb/SP777?locale=en_US

If your Mac meets the requirements you should upgrade your OS, of it doesn't consider using Turbo Tax 2020 online https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/
