Find My Pinging noise but no notification

I was watching a movie and the pinging sound for Find My went off. However I didn’t get a notification or an email. I changed my password and signed out all devices but I’m not sure why this happened. Nobody else is on my Apple ID. I share my location with a few people. One of my friends has an old phone that hasn’t been updated so she still has Find My Friends. Is there a way for them to ping my phone or something? I’m trying to figure out what happened.
