Can I delete the OS X Yosemite installation when I have OS X Mojave?

Hello,

I have OS X Mojave on my macbook. Under the programs there is still a OS X Yosemite installation program. This takes more than 5GB of space. I would like to delete this, to clear up some space.

Can I do this without doing any damage to my mac?

yes you can unless you want to save a copy if needed to reinstall in the future for some reason
