Are you simply attempting to use a different Search engine in preference to Google - and/or a different web browser?
The Safari Web browser is built-in to iOS/iPadOS. Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, DuckDuckGo, Brave and other browsers are available from the Apple App Store.
Most (if not all) of the available browsers allow you to choose the default Search Engine of your choice. Safari, by example, allows you to choose between Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo and Ecosia search engines.
