iMovie stabilizing motion

I selected to have the stabilizing motion on a video I am working on it has been analyzing for dominant motion for several hours the entire video is only four minutes long how do I get out of this feature I can’t seem to stop it please help

The stabilizing feature can take a long time to render. As thesurreyfriends says, you need to force quit iMovie to stop it. Force quitting will cancel the rendering, whereas normal quitting will simply halt the process, that will then take up where it left off when you open iMovie again.
