i have a imac and were i live the internet connection is realy poor and wanted to know is there is a location where i can download it from work as iso
There isn't any place to get macOS except the Mac App Store (or Software Update).
Please stop and think for a moment. How could we know where you can go to do a download? Could you explain what it is that is bad about your internet? Sometimes it can be fixed. You can help the download somewhat if you use a hard wired Ethernet connection. Do not use Wi-Fi. It is too slow for these very large files. Be sure to stay off the internet during the download process. Many internet vendors offer online links which test and trouble shoot problems. I would work with them to address any issues you find. Otherwise you will just have to ask around who has good internet service and take your computer to them to do the download.
I'm not sure that is the location that was asked about. I was thinking location being a website.
However, that is a good solution assuming some type of notebook Mac. Just take it to a physical location with a better internet connection.
If it is a desktop Mac, that's not so practical.
