MacBook Pro late 2011 13inch install windows 7 64bit in BCA's instruction.

Hello Dear,

I'm using MacBook Pro late 2011 13inch core i7, and I tried to install windows 7 Ultimate 64bit in Boot Camp Assistant's instruction, but it show up "No Bootable device, please insert disk" like this.....

I installed windows 7 by USB bootable from both of Window Tools and Boot Camp Assistant create iso file to USB..... I wondered why this mac didn't know my USB drive? Because I used this USB bootable for 2 MacBook already, and they worked.....

  1. Macbook Pro mid 2012 (13 inch core i5)
  2. Macbook Pro mid 2009 (15 inch core 2due)

They worked perfect with my USB windows 7 bootable....

Why did this only one Macbook late 2011 didn't work?

My all 3 Macbooks' OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite version...

Please help me!!!

Thanks,

MacBook Pro

The 2009 and 2011 Macs do not support installing Windows using USB. You need to use the built-in Optical drive (or an external Apple Superdrive, if you not have one) and a physical DVD. A 2012 Mac supports using a USB2 Flash drive for Windows installation.
