iPhone is disabled

hello i got an iphone from a friend with a password on it and she has forgotten the password. Tried to disable it but now it say`s iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes.

Password or passcode?

For the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password. See if you can get an email option if necessary.
