Macbook pro reset

I have followed the instructions to reset my macbook pro so that i can send it off for repair but i has finished its reset cycle snd come up on the screen with an exclamtion mark notification then the link to apple support and underneath states:

-5101F

what can i do?

Get your Mac ready for service - Apple Support https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209095



error code -5101F

Your internet connection is suspect in some way, and cannot be used for Recovery as is—



Common problems:


Hidden Network name


required use of a proxy server to get Internet access


required use of a login page to get Internet access


Use of a login server or certificate to get Internet access


Use of PPPoE in the Mac to get Internet access (typically only applies to DSL)


Use of Fixed IP address rather than the more common DHCP


Difference of the time by more than five minutes compared to Apple Servers.


Failure of Router to provide workable DNS server addresses, or providing 0.0.0.0 [may produce -2002f]




If you have an Ethernet port, connect to the Router using Ethernet.




In General—

Disable any VPN or Proxy servers you are using

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus

Power Cycle your router

Do a safe boot if necessary  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262


Make certain the Date&Time and Time Zone are correct within 5 minutes.
