On notes a camera and scan button doesn’t show up. How do I get it to show so I can scan? I just upgraded my phone but it still doesn’t show

It sounds like you're unable to scan documents to add photos in the Notes app. We're glad you've joined us in Apple Support Communities, and we can provide some guidance. 

To start, you'll want to be sure you're accessing this feature from either the iCloud or On My iPhone folder in your Folders list in Notes. Third-party accounts, like Gmail or Outlook, won't show the option to scan a document or add a photos in Notes.

If you're viewing the Notes list, tap the arrow next to 'Folders' at the top left corner of the screen. Learn more in the 'Create folders' section here:
