Trading in The IPhone Case with IPhone

I would like to send my Otterbox case with my IPhone 6s trade-in. Is that recommended?

iphone 8 plus case trade in hi i purchased a case a little while ago and i know when you do so and the case gets ruined you can trade in the case and get another one for no cost . would you be able to tell me if i can trade it in ? not sure if i did so already .
