dlink usb hub dub-h7

Hello,
I have problem with D-Link DUB H7 powered USB 2.0 Hub (the advertsing telling that it was Mac OS X compatible). However, I am having a problem with it on my Mac. Whenever I plug certain devices into it, like USB Flash Disk, usb Camera etc) get a low power error on the screen. On PC all devices work ok.

mac mini, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

Greeting marwaw. Welcome to Apple Discussions.

Sometimes the lights on a hub will light when plugged into the Mac, indicating that itis powered and working. However, this may not be enough power for the hub to power other devicves.

Does the hub power up o.k. when not plugged into the Mac? I am guessing that you have a problem with the power supply for the hub itself.
