My messages are not saying delivered even when I have good service

My messages to this specific contact are not saying delivered but it still shows up blue...and I have good service

It looks like you may have already seen these steps: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

However, we'd recommend double-checking that all steps have been completed from that page.


Another step would be to delete the conversation and start one fresh. Use the steps from the section "Delete a message or conversation" here: Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


We'd also recommend making sure that there are no blocks on either device for each other's number. Use the steps from the section "Manage your blocked phone numbers, contacts, and emails" here: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
