Just bought a refurbished iPod touch Gen 4. Headphone not working when put into port. I’ve tried 4 different headphones and none work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thx.

Just bought a refurbished iPod 4 generation. The price was good to be true as I made the purchase strictly to listen to the music when I run via the headphones. The headphone port seems to be not working as I now have tried 4 different headphones and nothing coming thru. I know that Gen iPod is vintage but any advice to get the headphones to work would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
