Unable to Cancel Apple News Subscription due to Error

I started a three month trial for Apple News+, but after a while I decided to get Apple One, which includes News+, but my old News + Subscription still shows up and is supposed to renew soon. Every time I go to cancel the subscription, I get an error saying that my request cannot be completed. How do I fix this? Note: This error appears in the iPadOS, iOS, and macOS app stores.

Hi walterfromcordova,

Thanks for reaching out through Apple Support Communities! We're glad to help.

Rest assured, if you've got an existing subscription to News+, you don't need to cancel. It will be automatically cancelled when Apple One is renewed, and will be included in that subscription going forward.
