verification

I got the alert to update my apple id settings. I went through the verification, it asked for the passcodes to the device I was on plus one other. I entered both adn it says there was an error verifying the passcode. I know it is correct since I'm able to access the device with the passcode. How do I get out of this endless loop?

We understand that you're trying to update, but unable to because you are prompted for a passcode over and over again, along with seeing an error that the passcode can't be verified. Can you tell us which device this is happening with? Could you also type out for us the two messages you see on your device? That information can help us determine possible next steps.


Also, does restarting your device help? It may seem like a simple step, but can help resolve issues sometimes.
