Itunes Match

My itunes match will not allow me to add my computer. I recently purchased itunes Match and have yet to be able to get it to work. I press "add computer" and it greys out but nothing ever happens. Occasionally I get the spinning action circle in the top left corner saying it is "waiting to upload songs" but nothing happens. My icloud music library is turned on and I have "updated music library" so I am not too sure what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
