I’m assuming you are saying your phone battery drains fast when you say it won’t hold a charge. If so, I would suggest seeing what is causing the battery drain. Go to Settings - Battery - Battery Health to see if you’re battery is relatively healthy. Anything over 90% should be good enough. Assuming that is fine, also look at “Battery Usage By App” and see if any particular app is causing a large battery drain. This article may also help you: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208387.
If your phone truly cannot hold a charge and won’t allow you to do anything, then you’ll need to contact Apple Support. They will be able to advise you from there.
