Connecting Apple TV to the Movies Anywhere application

Im using iMac with macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7. - all seems current.

I have a number of movies purchased over years that are loaded on Movies Anywhere from Disney.

The Movie Anywhere site says I can "Connect" to my iTunes account. When I click on connect,

it opens the iTunes music app, not the TV app. Even if the TV app is already open there does not seem to be a connection.

How do I get the movies that are on Movies anywhere into/onto Apple TV so I can see them from my normal viewing platform?

Hi Finnian59,

It sounds like you are wanting to connect your Apple ID to your Movies Anywhere account. We can help with this.

If you're still unable to view your movies once you get your Apple ID connected, we'd recommend restarting your Mac: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac
