We no longer have a MDM solution, when I tried to reset the phone it is trying to use our old MDM.
I have removed this assignment in Apple DEP but the phone is still trying to use it after 5 days.
How can I get the iphone (8) to pickup the new setting?
When you go to Devices in ABM, can you search for the serial number and find it?
Do you have Apple Configurator available as an option? Also, you should really consider adding an MDM solution back in. You may have to completely release the device and add it back using configurator to alleviate this.
You really need to have at least one macOS device if you're using Apple devices. And in the absence of a macOS device, you absolutely need to have an MDM.
With a Mac, you can re-add a device using Apple Configurator 2.
Basically, you either need to get a macOS device or MDM. Your device cannot be used until one of those occurs.
Have you restored to factory settings as a new device?
The device has been reset and it was in the post reset that this issue is causing the problem.
It is configure mode as a new device but does not let me get past the Remote Management as it is trying to use MDM servers that no longer exist.
No we are a Windows desktop company.
We are using iPhones and iPads but in a limited way only.
Yes we are working towards a new solution for MDM but due to the O365 roll out it is on hold until after.
If I release the device I cannot add it back as this is controlled by resellers only
