After how many hours of sleep on Mac book air, Touch ID does not unlock it
If I may come back to this issue. The Touch ID on the computer can only be activated / setup once the User has input the computer password and thereafter can be used in various ways. The iPhone has a similar feature - again Touch ID setup / activated only after the user has setup a password. Yes it can be used to Touch ID to wakeup but the iPhone. It is normally always on ones person. If lost / stolen and someone attempts to guess the password - there is a feature to Lock or Wipe the iPhone ofter too many wrong attempts - that specific feature is Not Present on the computer thus the requirement to in-put the computer password after ? ? about of time.
