Split Screen Not Working

My macbook air can't enter the split view. I've already done all the instructions with the green button and all the requirement on system preferences, but it's not working. anybody can help?

Split screen view not working I have a MacBook Air (Early 2014) and recently updated to macOS Big Sur version 11.6.5. Prior to the update, I was able to use the split screen view, but it has stopped working since I updated the software a couple of days ago. I have restarted my MacBook Air since the update, and ensured the "Displays have separate Spaces" box is still ticked in the Mission Control section of Systems Preferences. Split Screen Doesn't work for me I am not able to use split screen on my MacBook. I open the first page and hover over the top left to tile window to the left. Then I am supposed to open another window on the right, but the screen says no window available. Doesn't make sense.

When I am in split screen on my Mac I can only get half the screen. The other half says no available windows and also I cannot get the menu to appear at the bottom. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Which mac operating system are you using?

Not all apps can use split view, which apps are you using.
