SQL Server database on a MacBook Pro M1

I am currently working for a client that typically provides a shell database in Access from their SQL Server Database. Since I'm working on a Mac, that is now not an option unless using Parallels, etc. No Bootcamp because I'm working with an M1 chip. Are there any recommendations for other programs besides purchasing Parallels that will allow me to input data in a similar way to Access on a Mac? This particular issue is all new to me, so I don't have the correct technical terms to even know what to ask for from the database admin for a file format that isn't Access.
