iPhone 12 Pro Max storage space under Other exceed 10gB

was told by Apple hotline iPhone 12 Pro Max storage space under Other should not exceed 10gB over a period of time .

i notice this first occurs last week ( including flash on reboot) so Apple advise to reset phone to new. Did that.

the storage appear normal for 3 days but today it start again staying around 70gB.

wondering if it’s Apple’s way to reset phone back to new everytime **** happens or do I get a replacement .

yes I had done all that.

This will be my second time I had done back up to icloud , reset the phone to factory settings and restart with Latest IOS 14.4.

The first reset was on Saturday n went well for two days before the problem arise again.

this time I had uninstalled a number of apps especially the Lidar n scan apps. So Let’s see how it goes in the next few days.

Well , it’s only less than 24hrs since I last reset the phone and now the other storage indicate 30Gb . I expect it to continue to rise to the limit eventually.

Not sure why my other identical iPhone X Max doesn’t have the same issue with identical apps installed ot sure why I don’t have the same issue with my other iPhone X Max
