songs not loading in itunes

I subscribe to Apple Music. I use the app on my iphones (not always loading our music suggestions/play lists from apple etc) and on my computer while I work (Windows 10 through iTunes). The computer has had iTunes uninstalled and reinstalled. Shut down, booted back up, the standard "why is it not working". I can click on an album to stream (with no problems with my internet connectivity as everything else i do is working just fine) - and it will sit with a blue bar through the status bar of the song for upwards of 5 minutes sometimes before it decides if it wishes to play or not play. If i open the album, it shows the circle at the right side as it is trying to connect to it but it never does. I can't be the only one dealing with this and it is seriously making me reconsider my subscription. I only subscribed to apple music as we assumed it was simple to use - now after over a year it is proving to be extremely difficult all of a sudden. Any help? Photo of what it is doing is attached.

Just to update my issue. The reason it's cylcing throug songs is becasue play next is selected. So that's really not the issue. What I have figured out is that Itunes will not play a song that is in the cloud. Double clicking the song just brings up the blue bar in the progress bar and nothing plays. Once I download the song I can play it.

I'm in Florida. The issue seems to be specific to my main PC. I found a solution today. Don't know if it's permanent. I was also having trouble upgrading ITunes. I was getting an error message about not being able to reach the server. I ran Itunes as Adminstrator and the problem is gone. I am now able to stream, and I am able to update the software. I'm sure this is a band aid and something else is going on. But, it's working for now.

Mine wouldn’t play songs in my library and others not in it (through the streaming subscription). Now it seems to be working ok, but every so often it starts up again and I just wait it out or I’ll grab my tablet and stream there instead. So far my tablet hasn’t been affected (only my windows PC thru iTunes and my 2 iPhones, but my Samsung tablet seems unaffected).

are you by chance in Canada on Rogers? I wonder if that is part of the problem. I have connectivity issues on my cell to my Rogers home wifi...starting to wonder if it’s all connected (as Rogers promos with Spotify...who knows)

There is a VPN but it is never on (only to connect to the office to perform updates outside of working hours). Router has been rebooted. As for security software - i know there is something built in from the office - however i have no clue what it is (edit - it looks like they use microsoft defender). It just seemed odd that it only started happening late last week and had been working fine prior.

I am experiencing the exact same problem as the two of you. And it just started a couple of days ago.

So, now I am wondering if there is some weird commonality among the three of us that is causing the problem.

So:

I have Norton 360 installed.

I am in Toronto Canada and Rogers is my ISP.

My computer is a Dell Inspiron 27 7775 All-in-One

Any commonality there?

Magically my issues seem resolved. I never got a call back from apple - they said they tried but my line was busy (which I find funny as it’s never used for phone calls lol), and I scheduled a new call back for today and they again missed the call time. But today it’s working fine. I’ll keep an eye on it but has anyone mysteriously stopped having issues? From what I have seen in this thread it appears we all have some sort of Rogers connection...
